New at Fort Worth’s Fourth: VIP bars, private bathrooms

When Fort Worth’s Fourth returns to Panther Island Pavilion this year, it’ll have a fancy new section for fireworks-watchers.

New VIP sections will offer reserved seating for those who want a great view of the fireworks show, or prefer to sit in the shade, or desire better parking, private bathrooms and a cash bar. Tickets for VIP areas will cost $10 to $40 per person, and tickets are available now.

Not into VIP? Fort Worth’s Fourth is otherwise a free event.

Many of the activities from previous years will return to Fort Worth’s Fourth, such as bounce houses and water slides. Attendees can also watch jet ski and fly boarding shows or jam out to the Land Sharks (a Jimmy Buffett tribute band) or cover band Downtown Fever.

The five new VIP sections are each a little different; some are better for parents with children, others have access to a “party bar.” See VIP sections here.

Gates open at 2 p.m. July 4 at Panther Island Pavilion, 395 Purcey St., Fort Worth. Music runs 6 to 9:30 p.m.; fireworks start at 10 p.m. VIP tickets run $10 to $40 per person.
