Rapper Iggy Azalea is rescheduling her North American tour, which was slated to begin April 14.
A rep from the American Airlines Center confirms the May 22 Dallas show has now been pushed back to Oct. 25. In a statement, Iggy-Ig’s camp says the extra time will “accommodate for creative team availability and tour productions.”
“It’s important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requites more time in development,” the statement reads.
Azalea was going to be joined by Dallas-born-and-raised pop singer Nick Jonas at the American Airlines Center show May 22. No information yet is available on who will be opening now.
It’ll be Azalea’s first performance in Dallas.
“Fancy” featuring Charlie XCX, is perhaps her best-known track to date. Billboard named it the song of the summer. Keep your ears perked for a coming collaboration with Britney Spears, Daily Mail says.
Tickets for the original dates will be honored on the rescheduled date, according to the AAC. (Courtesy of GuideLive.com)
